Locations: Kirkland, Tacoma, and multiple Seattle locations
When: ASAP; Year round, part time and full time positions available
Job Description: We are currently hiring Dockmasters to help run our docks and serve our members with excellence at our 11 locations across the Puget Sound, Lake Washington, and Lake Union. The position is fast-paced, fun, and incredibly dynamic. In addition to interacting with our members, you will have the opportunity to develop your boating skills as you help maintain, fuel, and clean our high quality fleet of boats.

Course Description: Toro Trucking Academy is proud to have been selected by the Port of Seattle to execute their CDL-B, Passenger endorsement Pilot Program. As their partner, Toro will be offering our Class B CDL course along with the Passenger endorsement paid entirely by the Port of Seattle. The goal of this program is to build a local pool of skilled professional drivers and introduce them to job opportunities at The Port.

Use different types of tools or equipment, like power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, like oscilloscopes, ammeters, or check lamps
Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to put in, maintain, or repair electrical wiring,equipment, or fixtures.

Pipe Fitter- Desire to learn and be trained on how to:
Cut, assemble and install pipes, repair malfunctions, test pipe systems to ensure safety and functionality.
Read blueprints, set specifications, lay out plans for installation, and prepare pipes as well as be able to use pneumatic and hydraulic tools following safety guidelines
Measuring and marking pipes for cutting and threading.
Order required materials such as pipes, hangars, brackets, hydraulic cylinders, etc.

Painting - Desire to learn and be trained on how to:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding as necessary.
Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
Ensure proper coverage and smooth finish on all painted surfaces.
Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment.
Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools.

Job Duties: Learning to weld stainless and aluminum with TIG.
Use tools to deburr metal parts.
Assist welders and fabricators in a variety of work activities.
Occasionally pick up or deliver materials and supplies using company vehicles.
Change shop ventilation air filters as scheduled.
Perform light equipment maintenance.
Painting of facilities and equipment as needed.
Provide snow removal from building entrances and surrounding sidewalks as needed.
Remove shop garbage and recyclables.
Clean and sanitize breakrooms, shop bathrooms and other common touch areas.
Assist with safety and organization related activities and other duties as assigned.
